"Alien" The Ovomorph - (Real-time Fan Art)

Inspired by my love for the Alien franchise I decided to recreate the Xenomorph egg for some organic modeling practice.
Had lots of fun tackling the forms on this, from large folds to the more nuanced scale shapes on the rocky exterior. Similarly, working on some realistic fleshy textures was pretty awesome. Leveraging some procedurals and hand painting in Substance!

The shaders in UE5 took a lot of tweaking in order to get the photorealistic look I was going for but I finally got them to a point that I was happy with in the end. Hope you like it and please feel free to ask me any questions about the process!
